Top 5 Tools Apps on Android in Russia for Q3 2022

In Q3 2022, the top 5 Tools apps on Android in Russia displayed varying trends in downloads and active user metrics. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

VPN - Super Unlimited Proxy saw its weekly downloads peak at approximately 469K in mid-July, before gradually declining to around 210K by the end of September. Despite the drop in downloads, weekly active users increased from around 989K at the start of the quarter to approximately 1.2M by the end of September.

Turbo VPN - Secure VPN Proxy experienced a peak in weekly downloads of about 450K in early August. However, downloads then decreased to roughly 114K by the end of September. Active users saw a rise from 1.2M at the beginning of July to a peak of 1.8M in early August, followed by a decline to around 1.5M by the end of September.

VPN Proxy Master - Safer Vpn recorded its highest weekly downloads at nearly 298K in mid-July, which then declined to approximately 117K by late September. Active users showed a slight increase from around 956K at the end of June to about 1M by the end of September.

Smart Master Pro had weekly downloads fluctuating around 210K at the beginning of the quarter, which ultimately fell to around 124K by the end of September. Meanwhile, active users rose steadily from about 219K at the end of June to nearly 374K by the end of September.

Secure VPN－Safer Internet faced a decline in weekly downloads from approximately 301K at the start of July to about 60K by the end of September. Correspondingly, active users decreased from around 8.9M at the end of June to about 4.7M by the end of September.
